What we did in New Mexico
We took a lil’ trip to New Mexico for spring break last week. We ate lots of “christmas” chili, tasted many lavender things, and enjoyed a daily margarita.
Here’s what not to miss when you visit!
Stay:
@hyattregencytamaya was a resort haven to balance exploring with down time for kids. There are trails, loaner bikes of all sizes, tennis courts, and nightly smores. I’d love to come back in the summer when it’s warm enough to enjoy all the pools and the big slide. The hotel had lots of cultural nods and we loved the Pueblo bread tasting.
Eat:
@plazacafesantafe is Santa Fe’s oldest restaurant. The menu was fresh and extensive so we opted for guacamole and enchiladas, with “Christmas” chili of course. Hands down my favorite meal on this trip.
@lachozasantafe had the most vibrant decor, delicious food, and a variety of margaritas and mocktails for all
@sawmillmarketabq is an artisan hall with many tempting choices. We chose @flora_restaurant_nm for a taco feast and the kids loved the pizza from @hawtpizzaco
Do:
@meow_wolf and the immersive fun house of creative energy that is being in there.
