They don’t call it “cidade maravilhosa” for nothing. The home I left behind called me back for a third time in nine months after a fifteen year hiatus. Possibly because I needed to prove to myself that never again will that much time pass between visits. Or possibly because, in the process of getting reacquainted with the city I once knew, I fell hard 🖤🤍
